FOTD (FACE OF THE DAY) for July 19, 2012

Hey Everyone!

This will be an ongoing segment in my blog, where I post a quick picture and run through of what makeup I am wearing today.  I used a combination of makeup I already had plus one new item and one sample item.

Real Face Natural BB Cream by BanilaCo

My baby sister Britt who is stationed in Korea sent me this sample along with other makeup (I will blog about this soon) items and I absolutely love this BB cream.  It is very different than the ones I have bought here.  I am not sure if you can purchase this in the states but if you find it here let me know. It gave excellent coverage and was extremely hydrating, since I have dry skin it was perfect for me.

Maybelline Falsies Mascara in Very Black

This has been one of my favorites for awhile. I love the volume the wand creates and it really gives your lashes that flare.

TOO Faced Eye Brow Brush/Pencil Combo

 I have been using this for awhile. I go back and forth between using the pencil and brush.  I like them both but I usually carry this one in my makeup back because its super quick to use and I love having the eyeybrow comb on the end.

Josie Maran  Magic Marker Lip & Cheek Stain in Tango

I recently got this in MY JULY GLAM BAG.  (I will be posting about everything I got and the reviews on them soon) I was super excited to try this.  The color is very vibrant and pigmented.  I love the clean, smooth matte finish it leaves on your lips.  This will definately be in my makeup bag this month.

C.O. Bigelow Rose Salve

 This is an old favorite of mine. You can use it on lips, cuticles, cheeks etc.  I also have been known to use it on my hair to help with fly aways.  A girl gets resourceful in time of crisis. lol. In this existance, I just dabbed it on the center of my lips.

NYX eyeshadwo trio in  Aloha/Mink Brown/Deep Bronze

 I use this eyeshadow trio all the time. It does have quite a bit of shimmer in all three shades but during the summer months I totally embrace my shimmer.  I am careful to not use too many shimmery products on my face which can give your face a oily clown face, so try to pick one area to use shimmer products at a time. 

Loreal Carbon Black  Pencil Eyeliner

 This is another staple in my makeup bag.  It is 1 out of 3 of my favorite black eyeliners.  Its extremely black, the pencil is easy to use and doesnt need to be sharpened.  It does a good clean line with a smooth pigmented finish.

That is what it took to get my look today.  It is perfect for work and super easy to do..so easy I did it in the car on the way to work.  Of course my husband was driving but that is one of the perks to carpooling! This is definately one of my natural go to looks for work!
